To clarify this, cactusmaint is the list to talk to the cactus core 
developers/maintainers, and thus any post is appropriate for that list, 
however in general most technical discussions would be more appropriate 
for the wider audience of the developers or users lists.

Thus if you want a private discussion with the cactus maintainers, or are 
shy about posting to the developers list, please don't hesitate to mail 
cactusmaint; we will not forward the mail to another list without 
discussing it with you first.  In general, 'though, posting to the 
developers list will get you a much wider audience.
