R. Soares, "grid" is an implementation that provides a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system. It is e.g. implemented by the thorn CactusBase/CartGrid3D. By inheriting from "grid", you have e.g. access to four scalar grid functions x, y, z, and r, containing the respective coordinates for each grid point. This is most useful to set up initial data. -erik -- Erik Schnetter http://www.cct.lsu.edu/~eschnett/ My email is as private as my paper mail. There is one originally written by Michael Koppitz for importing binary black hole initial data, and another which is part of Whisky for hydrodynamics initial data. Which of these are you interested in? You would then have to talk to the thorn's maintainer about obtaining access. -erik -- Erik Schnetter http://www.cct.lsu.edu/~eschnett/ My email is as private as my paper mail.
